I could say the exact same thing about Ukraine from the Russian side. Something being a strategic victory, doesen't make it right or positive.

And we don't know the long term implications. The short term strategic victory can quickly become a long term disaster.

I agree that Trump and his close click isn't solid on NATO, but the US senate, US congress, US military and US people are very much in NATO.

And the main strategic thing will be cutting of influence and oil to CH/RU and giving access to Europe, sold by US companies. That will gready Trump 100% do.

The reality is that flipping Venezuela over to the "NATO" side is a strategic victory. It cuts of oil to China and cuts of a lot of access for both Russia and China into South-America. It gives strategic controll over an inportant area, and gives Europe a new safe'ish energy trade partner.

1. This is probabaly going to end with a quick regime change in Venezuela.

2. Chinese and Russian influense will be cut to 0.

3. US companies will move in and take control over oil production. Flipping a large oil producer to the US/NATO side.

4. US can focus more on China/RU, and EU has energy.
