Northwestern Agrees to a Deal With Trump Administration The university will pay $75 million to regain its research funding and end investigations, the second highest payment by a school facing pressure from the administration.

Northwestern agreed to pay $75 million to the federal government in a deal reached on Friday with the Trump administration that restores hundreds of millions in research funding and closes multiple investigations into antisemitism on campus.

In the month or 2 of the “Big Migration” from Twitter/X in November/December after the Election, they were huge in growing the urbanist community (I made 5, like this one with @katharinehayhoe.com).

Are new arrivals still using starter packs?

You’re not alone!

One practice that’s boosted my mood is to “look for the helpers”, as Mr. Rogers would say. Each month I search up a different cause and read abt organizations who are helping, then donate $10-20. Makes me feel better to know even if I’m tired, there are others still doing good.
