But the public libraries in tiny Jefferson County in Northern Appalachia were in danger of losing their tax funding thanks to right-wing book banners. And we won. The library's funding is safe!!!!!

Libraries can’t be everything. We can’t house the homeless, file taxes for the elderly, translate into other languages, provide masks for an entire community, and give free WiFi. At some point libraries need actual govt social services depts to step in. Oh, and books. 📚
