I am thankful for the community I'm surrounded by, for the folks I am blessed to know closely because of it, and the ability to interact with people like a literal child. To confidently speak like I'm still learning my colors and shapes and not be seen as dumb or strange.

He told me that people recognized me by my "childlike, innocent smile" and something about that just made me beam with pride and a little bit of embarrassment 🙈

When I'm little, I smile, giggle, hug, waddle, play, but I never do it to be seen or for attention. I do it because it's freeing!

My last post about Cap, I swear 😅

I was chatting with my papa and was surprised by how many people recognized me by my content. I feel kinda like I am a small fry and I'm not used to being seen by people I haven't directly interacted with in some way.

Little ones on device timers is the best cure. The playground is much more fun anyways 😁

It's hard!!! I feel like part of what puts me into little space (when I'm by myself at least) is that desire to take cute pics 😅

Cap was a great lesson in just learning to disengage and interact with the experience in front of you, especially when it's something that special 🥰

You also get gold star stickers for drawing so many cool pictures of your friends!

You are creating things with time, effort and soul. Especially without AI, You're already a far more creative, kind and cool person compared to every tech bro that tries to rip people off with fake art

While I am guilty of being on my phone quite a bit, I do have to agree. Aside from taking the occasional photo, the best way to disengage from your adult self is to truly disengage from those adult responsibilities and tools

It was so special to be able to see these rooms in person and to interact with everything.

A little play area in the foyer near the playroom. There are giant Connect 4 sets, a buddy bench, and a rocking motorcycle.

The main classroom, featuring microphones, a high quality projector setup, and a CAPCon branded backdrop.

The sensory nursery - low overhead lights with ceiling projections, soothing lamps, and plenty of spaces to relax and recharge. Plus two cribs!

This year, as every year, was absolutely magical. Our team is some of the best talent in the world, and each of them volunteers untold hours working all throughout the year - just to deliver this one week of magic. If you haven't thanked a staffer or volunteer yet, I encourage you to do so!

Getting some of these photos was super duper difficult because I had to clear attendees out of the area! If you were in the hotel early and near the playground, you may have heard me yelling "CLEAR! ROTATE!" as we worked on getting different angles!

The preschool - with work tables, cubbies, a circle mat, a story corner, and more!

The main playroom - with trikes, giant rideable rocking animals, trains, pretend play stations, lego, big blocks, and more!

You babies were SO well behaved this year* that I think I should give you a reward. For those who want to cherish the memories of CAPCon 2026, and for those who couldn't make it, here are some photos from our room setups (and more)! This was the best CAPCon yet - I'm so proud of the team!

Baby Yogurt bites, sandwiches with the crusts cut and the sandwich cut into bite sized pieces, goldfish, applesauce, "Ants on a log", veggies (yuck 🤢), obviously a bottle for the kiddos who aren't quite ready for solids yet.

Also, any adult food, but cut up and fed bite by bite 🥰
