This is Treasure Falls on Wolf Creek Pass. A 150’ drop made even more spectacular when frozen half-way up the sheer rock face. Great short hike and for those with less mobility you can see nearly this view from the parking lot! #Nature #CanonPhotographer #Photography

A dirt hiking trail winds past low alpine shrubs toward a still mountain lake partially ringed by snow in the PNW. Snow-covered slopes rise steeply on the left, their reflection visible in the calm water, while a dense stand of conifers clings to rocky terrain on the right. Low clouds obscure the upper peaks under an overcast sky.

The lake was more cooperative than the sky. Both were worth it. Happy #Stunday!
