After the online limited championship qualifier last weekend, ECL limited has reached maturity - surely it can't be that easy?
First try, 7-1 with aggressive pile.
Retiring
PT Richmond was a doozy. The shimmerwilds < Spider Manifestations into the PT meta. PT Las Vegas i'll play a good deck again, promise!

Some brews live, other brews are ahead of their time.
Attack for 18+ lifelink and draw 10 cards? ymmv
Check out my RBg Artifact Sacrifice Standard decklist - shocklands are huge for decks like this.

Top 4 in the Arena Championship 10!
4/6 of us made it into the top 16 on day 2, and I lost in the top 4 to @OndrejStrasky who I prepared with for the event, so congrats to him!
Here was our list (it's a degenerate, broken deck):
Here is what half our team registered for this years' #MTGWorlds. I ended 3-5 with the deck, for an overall record of 6-8. Just happy to have made day 2 with what turned out to be a wrong metagame prediction and miss on the strongest deck in the room during testing (UR Lessons) Go Arne in top 8!
First time playing historic in a while... this deck feels very strong, albeit very annoying to play on Arena!
Check it out on my Moxfield below :)
Affinity deck after going 8-2 at the PT. Small changes from the teams list. Thoughtcast I boarded out a lot, not a sacred cow imo
Day One of #PTEOE rallied 2-3 to 5-3 with the robots deck feeling Hungry
Are you going to Orlando? Vivi too expensive? Perhaps Tyvar-less roots is in the cards for you... Yarus CAN do the same thing, for much more mana, so unsure if it is worth the include but I like the threat of combo. Against Vivi we board in Tinybones, to stop discard.
It's for the Arena Championship 10, and the client is very deceptive - it should say 4

4-2 in the arena qualifier day 2 Should be good for the qual...! Roots went from a decent choice to simply the best deck post banning. Crushes Dimir, good against cauldron, prowess, and overall very flexible. Check out my list in the comments!
Finished PT FF with a 9-7, requalifying me for Atlanta. I played GB Roots alongside 4 teammates from
@handshakemtg.com with a 60% team win rate. Deck was so much fun, love to embrace complexity.

Played this UR Prowess list to an 8-6 finish this weekend in the Canadian RC. Four of my losses were to mono red, I think I would like to have an obliterating bolt or 2 in addition to the furnaces.

Turbo is fascinating for my combo brain - all cards and abilities cost 2 generic less.
Ended up winning a finals where I won the die roll with this list!
Had a ton of fun playing @bostoncubeparty.com this past weekend. Thanks to the organizers. 3-0, 3-0, 1-1 (sleep), then show up late for day 2 LOL

Decklist for the Arena Qualifier this past weekend. UW is definitely slightly worse in closed decklists but still a strong choice. Went 5-3 to miss day 2 with some close matches! moxfield.com/decks/Bk1VH3...
2-3 into 4-4 for day 2 and the requeue of #PTAetherdrift!
