These characters are year-round residents. They raise their chicks and the chicks stay with the family through winter. I feel very fortunate to be able to see them year-round. I'm looking forward to watching this year's youngsters learn their world.🐦😊💜

Gina, thank you! 🙏 This is 1 of my favorite photos of this particular jay. I think this is the matriarch. She's been here several years & raised several families. You may remember a story about a jay that talked to me and I posted a photo of it fluttering its wings? This is that jay! 💜😊
