The same tone is already in use elsewhere across the world. I assume it's easier to do that instead of having to have different alert tones for each country

I use these toilets on a regular basis when on holiday in Whitby. I am not afraid to admit I tailgate others or go in the exit gate when open on a regular basis. Public toilets should be subsided, no excuses!
