Been playing the new Suda51 game "Romeo is a Dead Man," and man. I am not enjoying the constant back and forth with subspace. Not only that. There's no map there, and the framerate tends to dip there to.
UE5 really needs to be optimized better.
For the uninformed:
Xbox: Phil Spencer stepping down and being succeeded by someone at Microsoft who is into AI.
Sony: shut down Bluepoint Studios, who worked on the Demon Souls PS5 remake and the Shadow of the Colossus remake
Nintendo: bare bones port of Fire Red and Leaf Green with no online play

Been playing Mega Man X5 for the first time, using the Improvement Addendum. So far, I've had more negatives than positives for this game. People weren't kidding when they said the series dips a bit after X4 was so good.

Mega Man X4 is done. Did a run with both characters. Another excellent game in the series. My thoughts:
I have two more bosses with X before the endgame. After that, I'll do a Zero run starting with a different boss.
Been playing Mega Man X4. It has been solid so far! I feel the difficulty is well-balanced, and the bosses have been tough, but fair. Even if I have their weakness going into it.
My favorite QoL improvement is the spare energy tanks. The excess collected energy fills the tank, a much-needed QoL.
Man I'm so tired of all this US government shit that's been happening lately, especially the Minnesota stuff. Twitter is such a cesspool of hate and misinformation. It's stressing me out. I wish I could remain ignorant, but everywhere you turn, it's the same bullshit.
