The perfect bird feeder doesn't exi--
The number of times I just want to scream is growing each day since a certain turn of events. What a f-ing s”@& show.
Well, sometimes my week involves just surviving. It’s been that kind of week. I’m hoping that tomorrow I will be able to find that spark to continue working on my art and writing.
Congrats!
My oldest daughter is a competitive dancer. We’re going to be at a competition the next few days so painting will be on hold, however, I’m hoping to get some sketches done as well as some writing.
What’s everyone else up to this weekend?
Should say listenING. This is what I get for typing at a bus stop.
Listen to SYML. While waiting for the bus. Perfect grey sky as the streets thaw around me.
This is the painting PRE angry painting over it mode
I started working on another painting. Then got mad at it and painted over the whole top quarter of it. We shall see where it goes…
I wholeheartedly agree
I eventually fell asleep, and then woke up way too early lol 🤦🏻♀️
Started to explore whether I can talk like a ventriloquist. You know, just something to do at 12:58am.
Anyone else?
Fred Willard?
This abstract acrylic is done. Now to get to work on the next one. #artsky #darkandmoody
For some reason I really enjoyed doing these drawing exercises. I like learning so I still take classes to build on the skills I already have. #artistsky #artsky

Here’s my Wednesday #wip. I’m happy with the direction this piece is taking. This isn’t a great photo - I’ll take a nicer one when it’s finished. It sums up my mood for the last few months. #artist #artsky #paintinginprogress #canadianartist
A painting I was working on. I’m in the process of nailing down a style to my paintings.
Octavia Butler was a black female science fiction writer who won several awards for her works, including Hugo, Locus, and Nebula awards. In 1995, Butler became the first science-fiction writer to receive a MacArthur Fellowship.
From EARTHSEED: THE BOOKS OF THE LIVING Choose your leaders with wisdom and forethought. To be led by a coward is to be controlled by all that the coward fears. To be led by a fool is to be led by the opportunists who control the fool. To be led by a thief is to offer up your most precious treasures to be stolen. To be led by a liar is to ask to be told lies. To be led by a tyrant is to sell yourself and those you love into slavery.
from “Parable of the Talents” by Octavia Butler

Ron Howard FTW 🎯
A little study I did last year while working through an online course.
I’m feeling like an old plastic bag that’s floating away on a river. Just laying there staring up at the sky and wondering what I should do about my current predicament. How’s your day going?
Guinea pig with lettuce
In case you’re feeling the crushing weight of all that is crapptastic, I gift you with this picture of a guinea piggy wearing a piece of lettuce. You’re welcome. 😜😘🐹
