Normie Rowe never put out anything remotely “protest”. This song came out well after he landed. The PM at the time thought he could replicate Elvis and turn popular opinion around. Failed miserably.
As prefaced, TOKEN 2 is a song about the folks who made it home and what awaited them.
Not an explicit “protest” song perhaps but the message is pretty clear.

There are no ANZACs now, the last died in 2002, but the ANZAC Day marches are probably more popular now than they were even when I was growing up. I always make a point of trying to watch the Dawn Services at ANZAC Cove and Villers-Bretonneux on ‘t Tube.

Strangely enough, Dylan was never comfortable with the “spokesman for a generation” role others conferred upon him, and which led to him practically disappearing for the best part of a decade.

Of course we were over on that other accursed place back then, and Kitty was still plotting her takeover.
I seem to remember joining just after I came back from my trip to Auckland, that was October 2019. Miranda had been involved a few weeks beforehand, and I think Jukebox had been going a little while by then.
So I’m wanting to say September 2019 at the very latest.
