Now, I don't think I did anything wrong, I solved the situation without risking my or my companions' lives, but my companions told me it was very cold and kinda offputting of me to manipulate that man into, basically, offering himself to the slaughter. So, AITA?

He accepted and, as predicted, the nurses basically vivisectioned him. He died and that left them quite shook.

I could have just refused, or I could have attacked him and put an end to his misery but I opted to gaslight him into believing his nurses needed more practice before they could deal with a patient and convinced him he would be just the perfect subject for them to practice on.

He then offered his services to me. Now I know he probably meant well, he was just Certified Cuckoo, but that treatment would have probably killed me.

AITA for persuading a mentally ill doctor to make his nurses vivisection him?

I (60M) met a crazy surgeon (?M) at a hospital in the shadow cursed lands. He had just "treated" a patient with the aid of his equally crazy nurses, resulting in his untimely death.
