First days of this terms experimental drawing at @ArdsArts today. Exercises were inspired by Hans Arp & Yoko Ono embracing the idea of chance and random marks & Sol Lewitt drawing using rules/parameters...then developing drawings intuitively...

Last year I was commissioned to make a handmade book of my Jackdaw series for the Bodleian library. I made two books with original cyanotype prints, alongside a typewritten essay. The books are in their permanent collection.

Class followed on from last week assembling bits and pieces, but this time wrapping them. Inspired by fibre artist Judith Scott's sculptures, using string, wool, and ribbon, we wrapped objects to change, cacoon and transform them....
