i think and have spoken a lot with other indie creators about getting projects to break out of your personal orbit of followers and reach outside audiences and literally the biggest answer is “people talk about it to Their friends”. so, idk, shout out a thing if you like it! it’s nice to do!

i can pretty much guarantee you that if you post something kind about an indie project you enjoy, someone that project would not otherwise have reached will see it. and that’s awesome

legit i think the most successful i have been at selling a ttrpg was when a random post about one of mine got a bunch of reblogs on tumblr. if you like something made by an independent creator (not even just ttrpgs! podcasts, webcomics, videos, whatever) you gotta be loud and annoying about it

We have 3x the views and downloads as the result 1-3 people adding us to their collections on itch than we have from our Glass Cannon feature or tabling at MAGFest (we had other benefits from those things! just not sheer number of eyeballs). Word of mouth is crucial for small titles!
