Diese Woche hab' ich es endlich geschafft, eine vollständige, deutsche Diskettenversion von Windows 95 zu ergattern und alles erfolgreich auszulesen. Hochgeladen wurden sämtliche Disk-Images, sowie 600dpi Scans sämtlicher 19 Disketten.

Es hat mich über ein Jahr beschäftigt, aber ab sofort ist IBM's PC DOS 2000 mit vollständigem, deutschem Handbuch komplett im Internet Archive abrufbar. Das sind insgesamt 686 Seiten in 300dpi, sauber gescannt und digital restauriert.

Ach so, jetzt verstehe ich die Verwirrung. Ja, ich hatte vor einiger Zeit schon die 386er Version ins Internet Archive gestellt. Aber das war eben Windows/386, nicht Windows/286. Das ist leider etwas anderes 😉.

I managed to extract a perfect KryoFlux stream from the protected disk! Also, the resulting "CT RAW" disk image plays perfectly fine in the latest WinUAE Amiga emulator.

About Architecture 1+2 for SimCity on the Amiga: I'm still bewildered why the only version present in official Amiga disk collections seems to be v1.2, which won't work with SimCity 512K?
