So the deadline for EPA to advise OMB on the legality of its own greenhouse gas endangerment finding, per Trump EO, was yesterday. Result TBD.
Interestingly, Rhodium describes 2024 emissions as basically unchanged – down by 0.2% – as the economy grew by a projected 2.7%. But this pace “underscores the urgency of accelerating decarbonization in all sectors.”
New Rhodium analysis rhg.com/research/pre... says 2024 U.S. GHG emissions were basically flat. And that emissions would have to drop 7.6% annually to hit 2030 U.S. climate goal.

The Supreme Court has agreed to review the D.C. Circuit’s denial of fuels groups’ standing to challenge California’s vehicle standards to model year 2025. Whether they will review states’ constitutional challenge is still pending.
