It's a hodgepodge of early 2010s popular music cues, right down to mimicking the noise made famous by Inception. Pacific Rim deserved something more rousing and fun (like an Alan Silvestri or Jerry Goldsmith score), not the Temu Hans Zimmer BS Djawadi keeps cranking out for movies.
