I’m recovering from lengthy illness & an accident. I read this before sleeping for 10 hours last night & the dreams I had were A LOT. Also possibly in the form of a musical? My brain may have embroidered musical numbers into the hazy memories retroactively, but regardless: weird. Yet delightful.
Emphasizing I have so far not needed PreP or post-exposure rabies vax myself but we’re a nosy bunch so I’ve been present for many. No one should take medical advice from forensic anthropologists etc etc etc Ask your doctor etc etc etc
I’ve gone with a lot of colleagues in the last 20 years as we need lots of vax & for rabies the needle gauge [in the US] has been the same as flu vax, tho they use the pediatric gauge for a number of reasons. If you’ve been exposed, don’t hesitate bc of misinfo - I def get it about the needles!!!

The thing is, no one becomes an expert on a show because they HATE it. The critics & scholars wanting to talk race & gender & whedon’s creepy brand of feminism in this show were proposing these panels because they were engaged. It’s genuinely gratifying to see these critiques get positive attention.
