For as excited as I am about Resident Evil 9, I have to say that High on Life 2 looks incredible. I've been playing through the first game and while it can be annoying at times the gameplay is actually quite inventive and fun. The second game looks like a huge improvement.

Romeo is a Deadman is pretty great from what little I've played of it, but I wanted to say to give someone props not just to Suda, but to Ren Yamazaki. He's been with GHM for a very long time. Co-directed not only TSA and NMH3, but also Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked as well as Black Knight Sword.
Suda is a massive Gundam fan.

Say what you will about the implementation but integrating random encounters into terrain in such a robust way is actually fucking awesome & forward thinking in a way that "remove annoyance" design isnt. The devs should make it a more integrated intentional mechanic
