I love how everything I say takes an instant turnaround. Critiqued the Knies-Matthews-Marner line, that aged well. Now I critique McMann and he looks like last seasons McMann lmao

Still thinkin’ about Knies effort last night to prevent the empty netter in the run up to the game tying goal. That kid truly has a “never say die” quality to him that I just adore.

John Tavares is up to 9 goals and 7 assists in 17 games. He was sluggish after returning from an illness earlier in the year, but he’s been awesome since.

That is the definition of a gutsy point by the Leafs. Full marks for battling until the end.

Fair enough, he struggles to create offence for himself which is why I think in a improved role you get better value out of that shot. He had limited success with a playmaker like Domi last szn (not this szn as Domi is beyond brutal), Nylander is also an elite playmaker.

I want to see Robertson get a long leash in the top 6 before anything. You’re not getting value out of him when he’s forced to chip and chase with McMann/Holmberg, and if they are to trade him without doing this, it’s poor asset management similar to Liljegren in a way imo.
