Well, I do attribute it in part to cultural differences, but also neurodivergent behaviour. While internet gives a shield of anonymity, in my mind, it is only slightly different than talking on the phone, so when in doubt, taking the "non-confrontational route" of avoidance is preferable usually

Common courtesy. In my country, we so not speak to strangers usually at all. It causes making new friends to be hard.
Feels weird starting convos online in a public forum. Anything other than comments that could make made in an IRL gallery or workplace feels intrusive

When I was something around 10-11 ans saw that people took religion seriously, some even literally.
My parents never forced anything about religion on me, one way or another, so I thought people just used stories as allegories.
I was allowed to read freely anything I wanted, so that has an effect

This is interesting, even my reading comprehension fails sometimes.
In irl convos, I've had to build a database of references from past experiences and how neurotypical people hide their true meanings. Makes conversations exhausting having to parse through layers of meaning.
Apologies for confusion

Most of human communication is non-verbal, which can include, ironically enough, verbiage, phrasing and emphasis. Everything not literally said. Not to get mustical, but some people radiate ill will and venomous intent

If an artist isn't able to visualise their ideas on paper (or on the screen) without the use of genAI, they are not an artist.
I know some artists who aren't capable of visualising things in their head, yet they can still create stunning art. I know others who brainstorm their ideas and compositions with literal scribbles and stick figures, only to end up with a beautifully rendered piece.
There is absolutely no excuse for a self-respecting artist to use genAI at any point during their process.
Someone over on Instagram saying that genAI is bad for art, but can still be used by artists who have trouble visualising their ideas.
I had to reply.

In addition to possibly forgetting the placeholders, especially for an early access title, I feel like these placeholders just radiate personality, soul and humanity. They are so cute

Not really a dislike, more so "I just didn't vibe with it":
Over The Garden Wall.
Absolutely beautiful, I just for some reason didn't like it. I wish I knew why because I can't say anything bad about it, on the contrary, it is very good

Absolutely devastated to have to deliver this news.
I have loved working at BuzzFeed so much but I have to stand up for what I believe in.
Please DO NOT send hate to anyone!
