I always go on about hating nostalgia, though usually in a less serious way and this kinda gets into it on a deeper level and how the nostalgic fantasy ends up dictating the policies we pass to race children, even though it never existed in reality.

Ultimately, We burn the past to kill the present.

The whole "Always moving forward" design ethos really allows the players to focus on tactics without getting bogged down in the execution, it feels streamlined in a really great way 💖
