im glad you're looking into all of your options! it's very important to be properly informed on your rights

even if it is tenant neglect that caused it, mice are still something the landlord should be dealing with. and he should be making sure to communicate with the tenants to make sure they're taking proper precautions. tho its kinda wild to me that no one else in your building is taking it seriously😭

he should've been doing all of this!! this isn't YOUR responsibility. it's the landlords!! I'd be looking into your area's organization that oversees landlord/ tenant issues because he should not be placing any responsibility on you for something like this.
