My new hand held solid-state oscilloscope/multimeter/signal generator. Looking at a failed CDI module output on an SV650. Aqua (rear cylinder) good, blue (front) not so great. Scope displays trace history as the gray cloud around the active trace. Awesome for a $100 tool.

From my buddy in Philippines: People tip Toto 10 pesos (less than 20 cents) for him to retrieve their scooter. He doesn't give you a number…you just find your bike and stand by it until he comes over and shuffles 5 bikes out of the way to get yours out to the curb.

3 hours later. Dishpan hands (if you do dishes in harsh solvents) but shiny & dry, ready for sealant. Why? Honda Rebel 1100's seem to be suffering endemic oil leaks at the stator wire exit. (Did the stator really need to be in an oil bath?)
