I think in general that people that hate the new Exp Share/party exp might actually just hate it wrecking the game balance, cause I feel like as long as they design the game around it then its no issue, right?
XY was balanced completely around the Exp Share, to the point that Diantha has a level 80 goddamn Gardevoir and I genuinely appreciate playing a Pokemong game with such a level curve in the main game, but it just does Not work that way in ORAS when you are nearly 10 levels above every trainer
Alright, I actually am a big fan of the team experience in modern Pokemon and think it just cuts down on some of the more boring aspects of grinding, like constantly swapping in and out weak Pokemon. Its a big net positive to me
BUT it destroys the balance of the first half of ORAS, holy shit
