I won't listen in real time, but certainly listening to the primary source matters.
Leadership is also what you help grant to others. I can praise someone as a good leader, which bolsters their power. I can give them feedback, giving them strength to grow into being a better leader. And I can tear them down as a weak leader, ripping away their own confidence in their abilities.
