What about the 2.2million for the "Nova Scotia Guard" - Houston's pet project that include activities currently being performed by Search and Rescue and the Red Cross. How is this still being funded!!!

Hey liz- thanks for doing this. As part of a non-profit arts organization I've been having absurd, circular conversations with gov' departments regarding grants for a few months. Now I know why.

I'm chilled with the lies this government is telling.

My particular favourite is about "poor usage of student transit passes". Bus drivers just let the students on the bus- no data is collected and the buses are full of students. It's Another lie.

The only way to fairly deal with the road maintenance issue is to have the fee rate matched to kilometres driven AND introduce a similar fee for other large heavy vehicles that cause more wear and tear.

But they will be proportionally paying much more than heavy trucks. It amounts to a fine for driving electric.

Point- a person driving 10000km per year will be paying twice as much as someone driving gas for 10000km.

The issue is the price not the concept.

So student research grants in Health are being cut because it doesn't align with resource extraction yet Nova Scotia is chosen as site of a major drug study. When will the PCs understand that Nova Scotia's greatest natural resource is, and has always been, it's people.

I do truly despise Javani. somehow he is worse than PP. What possible trade expertise or insight does Javani think he has? He would sell out all of us in a heartbeat.

A subtle message about looking after the defenceless and abandoned and helping them soar. This is a veiled political statement, pointing out that looking after the poor is something to be proud of, something that made America. The ad is so gentle that it will not overtly upset anyone. Clever.
