I have started listening to Bonhoeffer's Life Together. It is interesting. So far, I don't agree that Christian love and human love are separate or that human love is inferior. But he does make some really good points about how Christians need to be showing love. Seems like a missing message today.

Some people just don't get that kids have differences or that just because you beat something into your kid doesn't mean they will be able to use that skill later.

I was 12 in Albany lobbying against SONDA - my own rights. I smiled at them because I saw everyone else being angry and mean and that didn't seem like a good testimony. Lol. Then when it passed, I saw one of our fellow pastor lobbyists just about falling down as he walked out he was so depressed.
