Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What's YOUR #LastFourWatched?
Jurassic World Dominion
Mississippi Burning
The Hunt for Red October
Ronin
First time for Jurassic World Dominion. Better than Fallen Kingdom. Mississippi Burning a reminder of how bad it can get. Ronin is a reliable watch.

It seems like lawyers should never use Ai. Wouldn't a lawyer be liable for unreliable or untrue statements from Ai that are signed off by the lawyer?
That's no flying car, that's an aircraft using a car as an undercarriage.
I need to explore his filmography. He was good in "Ronin."
My only sort-of issue with "A Princess of Mars" is John Carter is depicted as rushing into action and never being wrong. A little too perfect. But the world building is amazing.
Thomas Haden Church as Dwayne LaFontant in Over the Hedge.
My favorite performance from Thomas Haden Church is as Dwayne LaFontant from "Over the Hedge." He puts so much energy out there. He steals the show.
For days after watching that, my wife and I would quote it.
"Are we going to the opera? I don't think so."
I haven't seen all his movies, but I haven't seen a bad Liev Schreiber performance.
X-Men Origins Wolverine
Sum of All Fears
RKO 281
Sphere wasn't great, but he was.
Raul Julia, Richard Dryfuss, and Sonia Braga in "Moon Over Parador."
People think of Adam's Family or Street Fighter a lot with Raul Julia. But I think of his role in Moon Over Parador.
Ernie Hudson in Congo.
He was fantastic. The film was uninspiring.
Weren't there a lot of people who considered Bin Laden a threat over a year before 9/11? He can't claim special knowledge.
Ah, but what if the precious juice was hidden in the vehicles?
Nice to have proof that separation of powers is a great idea.
Tomorrow Never Dies
So I haven't seen all the Bond films, but this one is good. Great opening sequence, plausible villian, Bond with a heart, Michelle Yeoh as Chinese agent Wai Lin, and an excellent closing sequence with the Royal Navy, Wai Lin, and Bond in the thick of it.
What is a "simulator exercise" because I just imagine this:
So now high gas prices are a good thing?
Hudson Hawk is such a fun movie.
Calculon saying: "Have you got an extra "goto 10" line?"
This guy is just entertaining in all the ways he wouldn't want to be.
Twice Upon a Time (1983)
A great animated film. Legal battles kept it out of video stores.
Starring former Garfield voice Lorenzo Music, many other great voice talents, and a unique style.
Watch it if you get the chance.
Agree. I was a fan of the book before the movie. "A Princess of Mars" is a great title. You get a location hinting sci-fi and a mention of a major character evoking intrigue.
"John Carter" could be a bio-pic of the guy who invented velcro.
Still, I love the movie and have watched it several times.
Bold font stating: "BUCKAROO BANZAI AGAINST THE WORLD CRIME LEAGUE"
Going off on a tangent > Going off on a parallel
"...literally..."
"Rocks and Shoals" is one I particularly like and "Sacrifice of Angels" was excellent.
My daughter loves alfredo, but not fettuccine. So I've had to work on a few different ways of making my own. She likes it with heavy parmesan flavor and a lot of garlic.
Unfortunately my library doesn't support Kanopy. But I use Libby all the time.
DS9 is my favorite Trek series. Probably season 6 is the best season. Some amazing episodes.
"...just like any other man, only more so."
