5 pages a day, 6 weeks for a decent first draft, tracks for me for specs, because bins have been filling.
When it’s an assignment, do you allow a bin buffer period? How do you manage?

I feel she was a good actress, that chose to aim for stardom but ignored or chose not to listen to what the audience wanted of her. Much like Nawaaz, a victim of self-appointed stardom. It doesn’t hold unless the audience wants you there, which you have to earn with time and luck. 🍀

In this instance, I have a couple ghost stories to run through the MITH machine to get the most out of them before I pitch them to producers in Feb.
I have a system, especially with Non-fic. First, I just get through the text as surface and as fast as possible.
Second read, I do highlights. Green for facts/statements, yellow for examples, blue for questions/theories.
Third read is losing the repetition in highlights, a deeper dive.
