A wind waker mod where Link is replaced with Kiryu from Yakuza
found the perfect mod
Honestly this is probably my favorite set of your emojis. They're so cute!
If I had discord nitro I would say make this pizza man animate.
An emoji of the pizza mascot.
An emoji of mushi.
We played @jaytholen.netβs #HypnospaceOutlaw for game club.
I love this game so much, it feels like it was made for me!
I had so many ideas for emojis. This is the most Iβve made for a game club!
The box art for Klonoa on the Wii.
Klonoa (Wii): Near the height of what a 2D platformer can be, especially for the era.
Don't play this version though. Player health is massively increased and it breaks the balance, especially bosses.
Cutscenes are 3D animated, but they're long and slow down the game's pacing too much.
Well, you got me.
None of this would be happening if Mega Man Legends 3 hadn't been canceled
Klonoa surprise-face
They gave Klonoa the voice of an adult human man in the Wiimake.
He is an abomination.
Sonic Rider Zero gravity splash art.
Sonic Riders Zero Gravity: Greatly simplified compared to its predecessor.
Not inherently problematic, but the track design has suffered.
Tracks are full of straightaways to accommodate the new gravity dive. There are infrequently cool cuts, this system with different tracks could be a banger.
Splash art for hypnospace Outlaw.
Hypnospace Outlaw: As someone who was around for the '90s internet, this was a nostalgia bomb. The writing is perfect.
Most puzzles have simple solutions, I wanted more complex puzzles which require deduction.
It's easy to get stuck. There's a hint system, but I found it seconds before the end.
The splash art for Mario Tennis fever.
Mario Tennis Fever: The best in the series.
Aces was great but more fighting game than tennis game. Fever puts focus on tennis, combined with interesting build making.
The fever rackets deliver the "Mario" promise. Each match is a boss fight with its own mechanics.
Also I love unlocking junk.

It's the box art for ape Escape 3!
Ape Escape 3: The best in the trilogy!
It's polished, experimental, weird and incredibly dedicated to its theme, aesthetic and awkward controls.
I wish more AAA games like this were being made.
The transformations are OP, which is not a big problem except that they override the music!
It's splash art for mesal gear solid.
Mesal Gear Solid: It may be silly to count this as a separate game, but it was longer than Sonic Labyrinth!
More than anything it shows that Ape Escape is a predecessor to Astro Bot.
The polish and faithfulness in this joke minigame blows my mind. I think it's unmissable if you're an MGS fan.
IT IS PERFECT! WONDERFUL!!!
It's my score from my play through!
Sonic Labyrinth: This game is not well liked.
Maybe there is something wrong with my brain, but I'm into it!
I love a game with a timer, and Sonic's walking vs. spin dash state have very well defined uses.
Sonic's default slowness doesn't bother me, it's there to incentivize spindashing.
It's splash hard for teenage mutant Ninja turtles shredders Revenge.
Shredder's Revenge: Am I a fake turtles fan?
It's very polished, but I have one too many nitpicks keeping me from loving it.
Biggest issue is difficulty. Even solo arcade mode on the default difficulty is not challenging.
The moveset is great, but I wanted more variety between the characters.
Yveltal faces off against Xerneas.
This game must have weighted random. The final match up is between the X/Y box legendaries!
(Shockingly, geomancy Xennifer killed the bacon in one Moonblast.)
CHAMPION TIERNO would like to battle!
I always hoped it would end this way.
1v1 against the most dangerous man alive.
#PokemonEmeraldRogue
I'd like to see level design return. I like an open world but give us proper dungeons as well.
I'd also like to see functionality rolled into PokΓ©mon outside of battle. Z-A has it in a shallow way with its type barriers.
Systemic mechanics to track and interact with wild mons would also be nice.
A tier list of all of the main lines Sonic games.
I realized while replaying Sonic Advance 2 that I've beaten all of the mainline Sonic games. (Excluding some alternate dimension ports)
Of course, this means it's time for a tier list so I can finally be respectable.
The box art of Sonic advance 2.
Sonic Advance 2: I like it a little better than last time, but it has level design issues.
Levels are either samey and uninteractive or very mean. (With the exception of Sky Canyon, which rules)
Springing directly into a spike is a sin.
Without the BS I would really enjoy the last few zones.
You should check out Absolum if you haven't yet.
It's a beat 'em up rogue lite by co-developers of SoR4.
IMO rogue lite is the closest genre to channeling what it's like to play a beat 'em up in the arcade. It's a great fit and it solves what's missing for me in many modern beat 'em ups.
The pallette is fantastic!
I picked up this game on Wiiware, played the whole thing, and then never touched it again.
Seeing your art is like a reminder of a fever dream from my youth.
Bonkβs Adventure
Camelot made the decision to make a mode for babies: by babies. But the game is more than worth it if you ignore adventure.
Should the existence of a mode targeted at a very young audience color reception of the rest of the package?
Mario Tennis Fever has me thinking again about the holism of game reviews.
It's a wonderful sports game that is incredibly fun competitively and casually. It has easily the most to engage a solo player in the series. But the Adventure mode sucks, so this means the reception is middling.
It's Mario having been turned into a baby holding a ball and a tennis racket.
Mario Tennis Fever (Adventure): Shockingly weak. More than half of its runtime is an unskippable, boring tutorial. You play a couple mini games then it ends.
Not sure why there is so little tennis in this tennis RPG. The components are here to make something cool, maybe a mod can do it justice.
My accidental #MarioTennisFever thousand IQ play.
This game is really dumb, I love it.
The splash art of dispatch.
Dispatch: It's hard to imagine a better game in the Telltale style.
The story is well written and told. The dispatch gameplay is compelling, but its greatest strength is ludonarrative. It pushes players to make decisions with equal consideration towards narrative and gameplay consequences.
