I'm game, what about you?
For all you "Not Yet A Constitutional Crisis" people: The kid at Columbia with a green card currently in secret ICE detention for thoughtcrime is a four alarm fire.
We Got Who They Voted For (Dan Rather, veteran journalist)
"The silence of critics is essential to the growth of authoritarian power. So time for another gentle reminder that the press has an imperative role to play in holding the powerful accountable."
I’ll stop “overreacting” when you start reacting.
If you told me that the sole purpose of this administration was to cause the country to collapse I would be on board with that explanation and have no evidence to offer to the contrary
I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.
“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

It’s a blockfest for those mad about Hunter’s pardon! Sorry. This is GREAT NEWS and I’m glad to see POTUS throw out these ridiculous and partisan-fueled charges!

Day 6/20
I think all of our favorites are going to be the same!! Nancy Drew is what made me an avid reader and I cannot wait for my daughter to be a little older so I can read them with her.
I’ve returned to this piece so many times in the last 6 years- www.newyorker.com/magazine/201...
It was definitely my first favorite book and remains the one I’ve read most often!
Not my most read genre so take my recommendation with a grain of salt but I found The Amory Wars because I love Coheed and Cambria and they didn’t disappoint.
It tore me open when I read it but I didn’t know how much I needed it at the time! I miss her.

Day 3/20
I feel mislead by all dystopian literature. It's supposed to be a powerful authoritarian government that lords over a cowering population, and and we just need need a few brave acts of heroism to give the people the courage to rise up.
Instead it's just half the country being dumb and mean.
