“Yeah, I’m overwhelming positive that you need to go tf outside.”
sooo psyched about this four-part series on silent hill! part 1 is, naturally, all about silent hill 1 www.mothership.blog/silent-hill-...
Holy hell, this needs wide distribution. Crazy this has been done since 2019 and feels like it came out this week.
I love Savannah, I love film, I hate daylight savings time.
Now, I’m about to lib out with Amy Goodman in 10 minutes.

Film fest under the Oaks aka proof of life.
Robert Eggers adapting Moby Dick would go crazy.
In tonight’s episode, I will attempt to describe Gaspar Noe’s Climax in the most PG way possible over the instrumental to Haddaway’s “What is love?”

Speculation, but I wonder if this is a response to MS. You mentioned the next console basically being a PC. I am wondering if they think XB is on its last legs and the original move to PC was to try to eat some of that market while XB was still competitive, but now they don’t see it that way anymore
Winding down on some writing and threw on @minnmax.com’s deepest dive on RE9. I’ve beat the game twice already because I am a horror game and speedrun sicko, so excited to hear their take. I’m like 5 minutes in and I love that Victor Gideon is already labeled a bisexual icon and they are right!
To other film festivals out there, especially those of you that regularly platform films from the major studios. Now seems like a great time to NOT DO THAT. If three total companies are going to own the world we all have a responsibility to work harder than ever to discover and platform new voices.
I had a wonderful time with my guests from the Hindsight Film Festival last night, but next week we are kicking off In The March of Madness. A month long exploration of sights and sounds to drive you insane. We are starting the series with Gaspar Noe’s CLIMAX! So join me next Wednesday!
The Hindsight Film Festival starts tomorrow in Savannah. There are going to be some fantastic showings of new and legacy documentaries including a 50th anniversary screening of Harlan County, USA with director, Barbara Kopple.
Gonna show a Fire Walk With Me and Eve’s Bayou double feature and call it a cultural exchange program.
I feel like these dudes are constantly snitching on themselves. Like just say you don’t play the game and move on, don’t need a whole ass paragraph of make believe.
Loved the trailer, it felt like it was same vein of Mystery Team. Plus, Mike Mitchell is genuinely hilarious and I love seeing him in more movies.
world-altering decisions are being made by a cabal of gambling addicts hell bent on self enrichment no matter the cost to humanity, we should look into that.
I love the part where one of the lighthouses is just a shack in a bayou and Chris baptizes Ethan in the swamp.
I loved it, it’s like they decided to make a game that just pendulum swings between “Oh hell no!” and “Oh hell yeah!” for the whole playtime.
