Lol, while I'd love to have been skating, we were just walking on it while playing for a bit. Some in our group didn't realize you could also walk on the ice (in that the canal wasn't restricted to only skating), so we introduced them to it.
I might have gone out playing Pokemon Go in -20-something (C) weather, and I'm now ridiculously sore, but we certainly had fun doing so! View from the Rideau Canal

Back from a whirlwind trip to Montreal. Nice to spend time with my parents, and visited the Mtl Museum of Fine Arts. It has to have been over 15-20 years since I was last there. Not a bad day when you get to see some Chihuly, Monet, Rodin, Picasso, and Krieghoff.

In Ottawa, a brawl broke out at 7:15am Monday morning, at a Costco (of all places), between people in line for Pokemon Cards. Two were arrested. It's just wild.

The wife and I carved some pumpkins tonight. Are we artists? No. Did we have a ton of fun doing so? Absolutely!
Also, I've learned my lesson, I should have known better. Couldn't watch game 1 and they won, watched game 2 and they lost. Guess I'll be glued to watching the score and the highlights after!

Adventures were had today! Took a drive out to Merrickville and had fun wandering in and out of the little shops. Topped off the day with allll the ice cream, and I'd say that it was a pretty solid way to spend a Saturday ^.^
