Heartbreak and probably hospital costs! Who will be paying for the weeks and weeks of hospital stay and machines to keep her alive? The hospital? The insurance company? The government making these laws? I assume not.

I didn’t mean there aren’t any leaders. It’s just that many people are just waiting. Eg. Greta Thunberg wasn’t a leader and started out as taking a small individual action which many then followed. Anyone can take action and many small actions can lead to big impact.

That’s the problem though atm. If everyone is waiting for someone to make a call it’ll never happen. There is no ‚leader‘ in a grassroots movement. Someone has to just start. Anyone can make a start at your local government buildings and more will join. „If you build it, they will come“

Each horrific event gets more people to mobilize. There are people who were sitting on the sidelines until this afternoon and they will no longer be sitting on the sidelines.
We are stronger than we were yesterday.

There needs to be riots in the streets. NOW. Don’t be complacent and just complain on the internet. Get out there. Call your representatives. Every day! Before it’s too late and they’ve dismantled all the government services that protect people.

I agree. There needs to be riots in the streets!!! NOW!! By everyone!Otherwise it will be too late and hunkering down will take years (not just 4) and people will die from simple and avoidable infections or healthcare debt, or another pandemic that now can go unnoticed without CDC comms.
