I lived in Australia. It was very different. I lived near a big mall. You would find luxury brands like Tiffany's. At the other end were grocery stores, a big fruit / veg store, and speciality stores eg butchery shop, Bakery, etc. It all seemed normal.

I agree... i design journals and still use a Canadian school notebook with graph paper, not lines. $1.50. It's a great tool for playing with ideas. And a lot cheaper than all of the "professional" notebooks.
