Not at all. I would simply like to have a choice that would be open to me in several other countries.
Not at all. I would simply like to have a choice that would be open to me in several other countries.
Except mine
Yes I have. And no one is going to force this on people who do not want it.
No, I want it as an option for people in my or similar circumstances who might choose this route. Why so aggressive?
Yes. It is.
Thank you. I will be sure to relate your thoughts to my family and friends.
No. It applies to people who are likely to die within six months.
I can’t presume to speak for everyone who has a terminal illness but it has been incredibly distressing to see discussion of a bill that seeks to alleviate suffering hijacked by those to whom it does not apply. So much public outrage over what should be a private decision.
So strange. What we hear is not what’s there.
Strange but rewarding, and very much predicated on not discussing my father!
Similar experience. Contacted by a lawyer after twenty years of no contact, and only sporadic contact in the twenty odd years before that. Unexpected blessing, a strong relationship with his widow now, despite her knowing very little about me before his death.
Think I might listen to some Fauré
Inspired me to visit Saintes Maries de la Mer aged 19.
So happy to find you here. You have been much in my thoughts on this very special day in politics.
They are all wonderful, as is Carrie Coon, but Julian Fellowes’s writing for the servants. It’s as though he views them as a separate species, like household pets.
Sunset in Madrid on Monday evening
It’s wonderful. I was hooked from the first episode. Such beautiful use of music too.
I have ten days more supply and am lucky enough to be under the care of a hospital that will supply if local cannot. Still infuriating
Is anyone engaged in protecting us? Third time in four months a supply issue with letrozole, a vital and basic drug for Stage IV breast cancer patients.
Hmmm. Doesn’t really make me laugh.
Watching and enjoying the fishing thing with Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer, as I watched and enjoyed (much more) The Trip. I don’t want to be that person but isn’t there something similar with women eating, travelling and laughing with/at each other as we do in real life all the bloody time?
Hi
Heartbroken at the death of Anthony Holden, Tony to many, and Toots to me. Impressive obits in The Times and Telegraph but neither adequately express how generous and thoughtful a friend he remained through the six years after his stroke. RIP sweet friend.
