lol, you are correct Peter, I know, I pushed it. But the wording of the lesson gave us a little latitude in the scope of a 'scape'. lol, at the very least there were some trees and a snowy hill in the background. 😃

This assignment was ‘Landscape’ which could also be ‘Urban Landscape’. This photo is the third of the five for the class critique. With sun just starting to rise I still needed some color correction in photoshop to heighten the effect and strengthen the composition.

I had a light-stand set up to where I was going to sit so I could hit the auto focus, then hit the shutter button, run around to the chair and assume a seated posed position for the picture. © Craig L Haupt

The first assignment in the T.U. DSLR camera course is taking Portrait shots. Out of all the shots taken of different subjects and camera settings, five had to be chosen for making a print for class critique. One of ‘five’

First homework, taking a bunch of photos of a few subjects in different settings to become familiar with the ISO, aperture and shutter speed settings.
