color pencil and water-soluble crayon. abstract, calligraphic. a lot of scribbling underlies a larger brush stroke that appears to be walking off the page, and is tangled up in streams of imaginary letters. I literally did not want to sit down to draw and I guess it shows.

water-soluble crayon (caran dβache). a creature that most nearly resembles a rat wears a lavender collar with a decorative flower on it, and timidly clutches something that could be a small rock or large piece of toast or cheese.

water-soluble crayon and graphite. this started with a quick sketch of my cat's feet as she sat with them all primly in a line. then a lot of other stuff went on top - starting with a big moon-shell spiral, and a stream of red and orange brambly stuff down the length of the page. the energy is pretty chaotic, in contrast to the tidy paws.

water-soluble crayon and watercolor, abstract, calligraphic. vaguely resembles a coiled snake with an extremely grumpy aspect, possibly wrapped around a stone or egg. I have a head cold and spent the whole day on tedious data entry, just a few minutes in studio.

The Gulf states & Israel depend on water desalination to live. If Israel & US break the taboo of bombing vulnerable desal infrastructure, they risk catastrophic harm.
Percent of drinking water from desal:
Israel: 80%
Kuwait: 90%
Saudi Arabia: 70%
Oman: 86%

ink and water-soluble crayon. A rather messy rendering of two interlaced permutations of a 7 pointed star, with a spider hanging off the bottom. I was more focused on getting the interlace right, than on the geometry.

One thing us non-Kansans can do to help is donate to Trans Continental Pipeline, a Colorado organization that helps people move to safer places. (H/t to T. Thorn Coyle for the link)

water soluble graphite and crayon. my two cats, Wrack and Ruin, playing the βlick lick bite biteβ game. the one in the back (usually Ruin) has her paw on the head of the one in front, as they face each other. Itβs not carefully rendered or anything; Iβm still in a not-spending-much-time-on-drawings phase.
