Too bad the Constitution turned out to be as resilient as a wet Kleenex. If US democracy wasn't always rigged to keep racist elites in power (Electoral College, 3/5 compromise, no ranked choice, etc.), we might have resisted being taken over by a minority government of Putin-loving billionaires.
Trump has the same hatred for the Constitution as his MAGA faithful.
For example, I'm sure at least one person in the WH knows the Presentment Clause of the Constitution, but Trump acts like a king with his signature because he's determined to run the US like a dictatorship.
