I should draw them making out more. I have a feeling they've been doing that for a long time — like since they were 16 or something.

him, and Javier can't stay away from Cuíca. Try as they might — it's like a magnet.

Do they have arguments? Oh, yeah. A lot. Most of it are silly arguments, and it never escalates. When it *does* escalate (quite uncommon), it never lasts — they run to each other to apologize, cry it out, then make up. Sometimes with a kiss, sometimes with more cuddles. Cuíca can't stay away from

Mostly because Cuíca's strong sense of "Fuck you, this is who I am and I'm owning it" didn't allow any space for doubt. And so, at 18/19, they're still the most physically affectionate duo in the world. They cuddle *a lot* — if they can't cuddle each other at least once a day, they get depressed.

These two are never not touching. Never not embracing each other, holding hands, playing with each other's hair, etc. It's their primary love language, and what got them a lot of "kindergarden bullying" of people calling them a couple. Javier wanted to be embarrassed, but Cuíca never allowed him

And then, of course, there's the intelligence — not that Cuíca isn't smart, he is! But, he doesn't have Javier's skill for mathematics and he admires it. And shamelessly steals his homework — it's a fair trade, because Javier gets something very important: The cuddles.

For his part, Cuíca adores Javier's personality — when they were children, Javier's meekness was adorable and Cuíca never hid how much he found Javier adorable. Then, it was the kindness towards others — even at his expense, Javier tries to be kind. Cuíca admires this immensely.

Javier appreciates Cuíca, truly loves him, to an extent Cuíca may never understand. It goes beyond romantic and sexual spheres (although, those too are very important) — it's his support and belief in him, that gave and continues to give Javier strength.

Cuíca was an anchor for him. He didn't get why his best friend was so sad and angry all the time, but he stayed, because Javier needed him. Just as much as Cuíca needs Javier. They're best friends — you stick together, come hell or high water. And Cuíca genuinely believes it.

Javier was a very timid child, but when he played with Cuíca, there was a "transformation" — from shy, near-mute crybaby into a playful, happy, normal little child.

When Javier's dysphoria began to manifest itselt at age 7, through depressive episodes, meltdowns and just inability to function,

within that first year of being daycare buddies, Javier was speaking much more fluently. Mostly because Cuíca was encouraging him to speak.

A lot of their dynamic in their earlier days was Javier struggling to meet his developmental milestones, and Cuíca being there to encourage him.

Today's OC fun fact: Cuíca and Javier met when they were around one year old, with Javier being slightly older than Cuíca.

Back when they met, Javier didn't speak at all — only occasional incomprehensible baby speak. And little Cuíca was a chatterbox who wouldn't shut up. He still is. However,

Beyond being boyfriends, they're *best friends* and they've been with each other for so long.

*Lots* of jokes about dicks. Because boys will be boys, and Cuíca, in particular, thinks they're hilarious because he's an immature brat perma-stuck in 5th grade.

Dodging "bofa"-type jokes is their speciality:

Other highlights include:
