Thanks for the tip. I was intrigued when I read the reviews when it came out. I still have some things that belonged to my mother and can remember what she cooked in/with them

Yes, looked it and thought, I don't watch any reality series especially US ones, spotted the spanagram and knocked the rest off in record time
Story Graph graphic showing the first book I read in 2025 was The prophet and the idiot and the last was Parisians by Graham Robb. The longest book was London a biography and the shortest was AstΓ©rix and Cleopatra
This is my reading year according to StoryGraph.
Lyngham is sung a lot in Cornwall
Or indeed Cranbrook
You jet-setter ;-)
Also slightly annoyed not to get the purple group first as I rejected one word as it wasn't in the plural
We didn't know it was a thing but having googled we all tried doing the thing at breakfast time with mixed success
Are you sure it wasn't the previous one ;-)
Like you it took me a while to get into it but I did love it. I have The Wood in Midwinter on order on Libby since May - I am now 9th in the queue
Very good
You can never have too much icing. You can make too much icing for the cake but then you just sit down with what is left in the bowl
It is a great bookshop. We stay in Wirksworth a bit which is only 10 minutes drive away
I saw one last week at work (outside I hasten to add) and likewise I hadn't heard of them before
I was hoping for black and white things and red and white things but I will take the actual answer
totally, I got none at all. Vest is not a verb and don't get me started on the purple group
Hope they gave you a badge so you know what a brave girl you have been
We've done two more loads since and not a peep. Definitely weird
Phew. We came back from holiday and on the final spin of the first load ours made loud clunk and the drum stopped rotating freely. Cue morning and frantic calls to neighbours only to find out the fairies had visited in the night and cured it
And I got it twice, once when I first got the job and second when I went for internal promotion a few years later
Probably, what's the worst thing that has happened to you at work and how did you cope
Very smooth. All the connections across London worked so I was home half an hour early
Hope your journey home was smoother. I am currently on the Victoria Line so almost home
I see what you did there π@jrfinch.bsky.social
