The youngest coach on O's revamped staff (only 28) has made quick impact SARASOTA, Fla. -- If you’ve watched any Orioles Spring Training home games this year, you’ve likely seen new manager Craig Albernaz sitting in one of the four chairs positioned to the left of the firs...

Joe Singley is only 28. But the Orioles’ new field coordinator/catching coach has had a lot of responsibilities this spring.

A big one? Creating the daily camp schedule.

“It’s just a giant Rubik’s Cube. You puzzle things around and make them all fit.”

German is also pitching today, but now in relief. Fixed to say Gibson after O’s announced the change.

He threw live BP on a backfield in between his last start and his next start. Common thing for starters in Spring Training.

Dean Kremer was also very amped up after Josh Mallitz came in and escaped a bases-loaded jam, forcing a double play to end the top of the 5th and preserve Israel's 1-0 lead.

Kremer was yelling and pumping both his fists from the top step of the dugout.

Another impressive showing by an Orioles player at the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

Pitching for Israel, RHP Dean Kremer tossed 4 1/3 scoreless innings vs. Nicaragua, with 2 hits allowed, 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. 63 pitches, 39 strikes.

RHP Cameron Foster and RHP Anthony Nunez had impressive showings in big league camp, but they were always longer shots to break camp with the Orioles over some of the other relievers.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see both make MLB debuts this year and become key members of bullpen.

Another round of cuts by the Orioles.

RHP Cameron Foster and RHP Anthony Nunez optioned to Minor League camp.

C Silas Ardoin, OF Jud Fabian, RHP Jean Carlos Henriquez and RHP Cameron Weston to reassigned to Minor League camp.

O’s MLB camp roster down to 60 players.

A guy I've enjoyed watching a lot this spring at Orioles camp is RHP Anthony Nunez (O's No. 25 prospect per MLB Pipeline).

Another scoreless inning with 2 strikeouts today. 24-year-old has a 0.00 ERA with 6 K's in 5 IP in Grapefruit play.

Heater plays. Secondary stuff is nasty.

Vance Honeycutt has finally gotten out.

The Orioles prospect lines out to left field, dropping to 5-for-6 (.833) with a 3.690 OPS in Grapefruit League games this spring.

Get your popcorn ready and tune into MASN right now.

Orioles prospect Vance Honeycutt (5-for-5 with 4 home runs and a single this spring) is due up 3rd in the bottom of the 8th inning.

LHP Joseph Dzierwa (Orioles' No. 14 prospect per MLB Pipeline) works a 1-2-3 7th inning vs. the Blue Jays, inducing 3 straight groundouts in 10-pitch frame. Velo mostly 94-96 mph.

Dzierwa was the O's 2nd-round pick in the 2025 Draft. The 21-year-old hasn't made pro debut yet.

O's react to Gunnar's 4-hit Classic performance for USA: 'The guy is elite' SARASOTA, Fla. -- It was a later start to the day at Orioles camp on Sunday morning, as the team's report time was pushed back due to the beginning of daylight savings time. The staff's decision worke...

Nobody on the Orioles was surprised by Gunnar Henderson's 4-hit WBC showing.

"I know how much that probably pissed him off that he didn’t get in that 1st game, and for him to get in that 2nd game, I just figured that was kind of how it was going to go."

Know who else is having a strong offensive spring? Fellow former top Orioles prospect Coby Mayo.

Mayo ripped a 102.7 mph RBI double to left field in the 7th and is now hitting .421 (8-for-19) with 3 doubles and 5 RBIs in 8 Grapefruit League games.

Making his 1st start in CF for Orioles, Blaze Alexander was unable to make a catch on a play that resulted in a triple for the Twins' Brooks Lee.

Alexander jumped and his glove fell over the fence. So after the play, he scaled the wall, jumped over, retrieved it and came back.

Heston Kjerstad's strong spring continues.

The 27-year-old outfielder goes deep in the bottom of the 6th, powering a go-ahead 2-run home run the opposite way to left-center field.

Kjerstad is hitting .318 (7-for-22) with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs in 8 Grapefruit League games.

Another good play by Orioles' Coby Mayo at 3rd base, and this was his best of the day so far. The 24-year-old made a diving catch on an 89.5 mph liner off the bat of Twins' Victor Caratini to end the top of the 6th inning.

Strong showing by Mayo at the hot corner today.

Craig Albernaz on Cade Povich's 2026 role:

"For right now, yes, he's on the starter path. But yeah, still everything is on the table. ... We can always pivot and see what happens in the bullpen. But right now, at the forefront is a starting role and we'll see how things shake out."

A good showing for Orioles LHP Cade Povich vs. the Twins.

His final line: 3.2 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 1 K. 53 pitches, 33 strikes.

Povich has a 1.59 ERA in 5 2/3 Grapefruit League innings this spring.

Orioles manager Craig Albernaz: "When his posture gets too upright when he throws, that's where they usually go awry. It's where he's athletic, that's where his best throws come."

Albernaz said O's want Coby Mayo to let "athleticism take over instead of being so mechanical."

Orioles third baseman Coby Mayo just made a pair of nice plays in the 2nd inning vs. the Twins. On the 2nd, he made a great stop on a 92.8 mph liner. Strong, accurate throws on both of them.

A good start to the day after Mayo committed his 3rd error of the spring yesterday.

It's been a while since Orioles' Tyler Wells was a full-time reliever, but he's ready.

"Being a starter and being a high-leverage reliever, those are the 2 spots that a lot of people have a lot of pressure in.

"I want the pressure. I want the fire."
