Now I'm curious what kind of legs/feet people have imagined in my stories, if they never saw any of the art. But I definitely know in my head.

Now I'm curious what kind of legs/feet people have imagined in my stories, if they never saw any of the art. But I definitely know in my head.
My latest describes a lot of the footwork in a fight, with one fighter in slippers, eventually losing both of them. But how that happens or even, what a slipper is would be different depending on their feet and toes.
I never describe "plantigrade" explicitly but my stories hint at it consistently.
I don't think there's any harm in specifying or leaving it up to the imagination but your mental image might bleed in regardless, when you describe furniture or shoes and it could contradict the reader's expectation.
It's normal to them but to the reader, there are objective things that may come up, like my examples given above.
If a reader imagines digitigrade feet then three books in a character puts on high heels, that might be a head-scratcher, or seem like the author hasn't visualized it.
The first two parts of #PairsOfPumpkins 13 are now live on @literotica.com

How sweet! I think?
I imagine digitigrade legs ("reverse knee") vs plantigrade on upright anthros would have quite an effect on how the world is built! From chairs and stairs to shoes, pedals of cars and bicycles etc. Some readers might enjoy those details and differences.
This is great! Will the golem remember being thanked?
Two WIPs have "resident" and I waffled between the serious one and the cheesecake. But ultimately, I write cheesecake and this particular passage is especially "she boobily boobed along."
It's not all like this! But sometimes it is :)

This is quite the challenging one to Ctrl + F for :)
Funny timing! My latest #PairsOfPumpkins story does have a moment of 69ing in the last bit...

Anyway, I guess that's about it! I love to hear feedback and suggestions, especially as I head to this crossroads as an author and a creative of super weird, super niche things.
Thanks for sticking with me and if you give my work a try, I hope you enjoy it!

(13/13)
The series I enjoy working on doesn't do nearly the numbers that my standalone stories like "Space Debris" or "The Trojan Horse Wore Hightops" did but I really enjoy Portia's journey. <shrugs.>
(12/x)
But after these two, I'm not sure what to do. I think the stories would make a great comic book or animated series and it'd be easier to reach more people than long form stories but that's an entirely different scope of work!
I hope the upcoming short animation will test the waters here.
(11/x)
I have two more drafts in the series: PoP14 and 15. I am especially excited about 15 as it's a more traditional, fantasy adventure story and may or may not even have any erotic parts.
I worry I need to strip away some of the niche elements but I should probably try marketing it more first!
(10/x)
If that sounds at all interesting to you, you can start the series here:

(9/x)
Now, nearly 20 stories later when you include the spinoffs, I'm painfully aware of it's niche as a fantasy, erotic, action-adventure story about busty vixens and some questionable taboos but at it's core, it's a story of family, responsibility and living with dark addictions. (8/x)
"Pairs of Pumpkins 1" is a story of our adventuress, later into her career but still at the top of her game. But she still has questionable, even immature judgement and self control. It's an erotic, fantasy adventure story with a Shylmanian twist, that sends Portia's life down a different path (7/x)
As that happened, I found my taste in roleplaying had become pretty specific and hard to find. I was also at a place in life where I needed a creative outlet so I decided to put that energy into stories! And so I started writing again and "Pairs of Pumpkins" was born! (6/x)
Once a character gets old enough, their canon starts to get calcify. Certain RP storylines led to some really interesting themes for a freewheeling hedonist adventuress about responsibility catching up to you, denying who you are, and coping with some less savory addictions. (5/x)
Portia didn't look the part of an adventurer which made it all the better: the world expected one thing of her and she gave them another. She learned to overcome her physical challenges and weaponized the way adversaries would underestimate her.
This was her as an RP character for some time.
(4/x)
Portia got a soft reboot as a fantasy adventuress! In a generic, anthro fantasy world, she became a runaway Princess, dodging the responsibilities and obligations she was born into for a life of freedom, excitement and adventure. No kids, no marriage, no worries, no growing up. (3/x)
Around then, I realized Portia was kind a "Barbie:" everything and nothing at once. A hedonistic character without much of a personality, world or point.
I've long been fascinated by the normal lives of people society overly sexualizes, like porn stars in bathrobes buying cigarettes at 7-11. (2/x)
I've talked a lot about what I make but not so much why I make it.
I started with anthro art a long time ago and my OC Portia but I've been writing since I was a kid. My biggest "hit" was an adult, 3d animation which is now 20 years old, before there were very many of those. (1/x)

I'm thinking a lot about this thread as I'm in very much the same position.
I always get sad when I launch a new story and my reach isn't very broad but I've done hardly anything to market them either.
You can't just expect audience to find you, not with all of the great stuff being made now!
Yes! Thank you! I think there's a lot you can get away with in fantasy when you shift away from humans and a lot of nerdy connotations around elves, dwarves and such.
Before the internet, talking animals were fables, stories and animated films, some quite serious, like "Watership Down."
Besides the obvious "don't worry so much" answers, this thread has been really helpful for me, being in the same position. So thanks and promote away!
It's really helpful. Thank you!
"Global Time" I assume is GMT? I've never heard it called "Global Time" before!
