I've been trying my hand at vermiculture after a friend moving away gave me their empty bin. I'm still feeling a little lost but there were baby worms at feeding time today so I must not be doing too terrible

I have vastly underestimated how long it will take to put netting up over the run. Spent 3 hours and got the netting panels connected and the screws into the siding for attachment. Tomorrow I'll get to actually put it up. In the meantime the ladies are safe in a tiny metal house in the backyard.

There is a neighborhood hawk that really wants to have a chicken meal and I am stressed out trying to keep our remaining ladies safe. Currently hiding them in the basement while we await additional supplies to reinforce their run. ETA via UPS Wednesday
