It's about the great plague on our lives: the extreme wealth of a tiny number of people.
And what to do about it.

Apart from having the worlds clumsiest "feed algorithm" - the job search filtering is a study in just returning whatever the fuck you want regardless of the users directed search.

"c# azure" -> "radiology expert". lol sure.

I spend more time ignoring ai slop than I do reading the thoughts of actual humans.

What are people even for now? lol. Most social media is now infected beyond the point of no return.

And it seems to me that largest single impact it has had is to stink up every fucking thing with the equivalent of people
Knowing nothing beyond what the top google search result brings.

The hardware suppliers are inflating costs due to insane demand and getting rich.

At every level it’s become grift. The major players are taking basically trillions out of VC for a general tool that has zero general use other than to ensure that from now on people are exceptionally dumb.

About 90% of what I read about it on Reddit can basically be summed up as “how best to use the theft of the entires planet artistic and scientific output to date” to get money doing something I would otherwise have no skill in.

Is it just me or has AI basically just become a race to see how quickly basically ALL of the planets wealth can be extracted into the hands of the fewest possible number of people.

The odd thing is despite the publicly available evidence she’s apparently not stupid (ppe Oxford) - so I personally think it is a question worth asking. It can’t simply be “she’s an idiot” surely.
