Today’s jumps card at Lingfield already felt a bit of a swizz with only six races when the last two flat meetings I’ve been two have had nine - and now we have 19 non-runners. Sun’s out though…

Fair to say #Lingfield is not quite as resplendent as it was for my visit last week but an 11.10am start is a new record I think. At least the horses are used to getting up early.
