Today is the final day of the OSL Symposium 'Beyond the Threshold: Liminal Spaces and the Gothic Imagination', where I related my presentation 'Drugscapes and Distress: Aleister Crowley, Psychedelic Space, and the Horrors of Liminality in 'The Drug''. Thanks go out to Bart Mulderij, the organiser!

Yesterday, I finally handed in my research paper on the Weird Cosmic Bliss phenomenon after months of hard work, remotely and on-site, as an intern at the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies. Thanks go out to everyone who helped me realise this project, which I hope to submit for publication soon!

And with that, the #GothicCrossroads conference has come to an end. It was the perfect way to (re)connect with my fellow Gothic scholars! Many thanks go out to the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies for the lovely time and for letting me present my paper on the horror dynamics of the 'bad trip'!
