like i was there for ganqing impact

lots of domesticity and small gestures when it comes to them. they have a love that's quiet but one that's so genuine it's louder than the constant bustle of the harbor

theyre the bridge between liyue's two worlds. and its only fitting that they're coworkers! at first they have a rough start since keqing's outwardly critical of the adepti/morax. ganyu is loyal to zl. but then they meet in the middle. they shoulder the other's work when theyre tired.

keqing is human through and through, stubborn headstrong and sharp. ganyu has been smoothed down by time, softer, more sensitive, and overworking herself to fill that gap of what she used to be during the (correct me if im wrong) archon war/the major conflict (i forgot).

keqing was my first 5* and i had SUCH a soft spot for ganyu when i saw her in game. i love when two characters are kind of hypocrites and then change each other for the better. ALSO the lifespan diff was such a cool concept . so much good angst + theres so much friction between them it makes sparks

i LOVE them you have no idea 🥹 if you scroll down far enough on my twt they were one of the first ships ive ever drawn. when i read ganqing fics, i feel like im visiting home. genshin was so contained back in the day, the fics also reflected that grounded feeling. i miss them so much. #strawp

and actually yeah it makes sense that they dont talk about it HASJKDHKA. in character for both of them with miko becoming more sly/indirect + ei grappling with change and all this responsibility that takes precedence over personal relationships. and ALSO also, genshin does feed us with crumbs
