Salzburg is a nice place for a wander too. Walking along the river is nice and a stroll up and down the main shopping street in the old town is quite pleasant.
Is there anything you particularly fancy doing?
If the weather is to be a bit grim it would be quite nice to have a wee change of pace. Maybe nice to rest the limbs from the skiing too.
If nobody else fancies it, you could always treat yourself to a wee spa day in Zell am See. From memory, it’s a spa town…
It sure is ☺️ A lovely thing though. The older I get, the more obvious it is to me that the only things in life that have any real value at all are the relationships we have with others and the kindness we give and receive.

For eating, there’s loads of nice wee bakeries. The Fürst confectioners are delicious. For a wee cheap and cheerful meal, I found Ludwig Burger really good. Nothing fancy, but delicious food.
Beautiful city, Salzburg. There’s a nice museum in Mozart’s birthplace that would be an indoors thing to do if the weather is rotten. Similarly, the marionette theatre is a great indoors thing. I’ve seen them perform three Mozart operas the various times I’ve been there.

As all teenage boys are! My mum used to tell me I must have had hollow legs when I was a teenager. She didn’t know where I put it all.
There is very little to beat the smell of freshly baked bread. You could feed an army with that batch right enough!
Beyond jealous! Austria is my very favourite country. First visited Zell am See in 1998 the first time I was in Austria for the Salzburg Festival. It’s such a beautiful wee town.
Well, it was just what I was needing after the end of the nightshift. Now for two days off… ☺️
